I recently celebrated my 50th birthday, and I wanted to throw a fabulous shin-dig to honor this major milestone. I partnered with some amazing local businesses to pull off this fun fete, and I've got some discount codes for you to use when planning your next major event here in Charleston.
We chose the newly opened Sweetgrass Lounge as the event space. It was large enough to hold 150 people comfortably and they also have an outdoor area where people can spill outside for intimate conversations. The inside is sleek with beautiful, metallic finishes and a custom wall treatment by local artist Emily Harris. The Sweetgrass Lounge is also a distillery for their eponymous Sweet Grass Vodka. Every bottle has a strand of Sweetgrass in it-- how cool is that??!
I love a good party with a purpose, and we offered some silent auction items to raise money for My Sister's House. They have a local chapter in North Charleston, and this organization is near and dear to my heart. So many amazing local businesses donated items to be auctioned off like Woodhouse Day Spa, The Charleston Place, Callie's Biscuits, Mills House, RMS Beauty, Andrea Serrano, Charlotte Berger PR, The BRIMM, etc.
I worked with some amazing vendors for those little details that really make a party. These businesses really rallied around raising money for My Sister's House.

Sea Salt Wines: I LOVE their Sauvignon Blanc, and we served exclusive Sea Salt wines all night long to our guests.
Woodhouse Day Spa: Not only did Woodhouse sponsor some beautiful gift baskets for the silent auction, but they treated our guests to a glass of champagne when they arrived.
Ashley Bakery: My JuJu cake was absolute perfection. It was moist and delicious!
Sweetgrass Vodka: The Sweetgrass Lounge made the most amazing "JuJu-bilee" cocktails with the fanciest garnishes. It was such a treat for my guests.
