I love to mix and match colors and patterns on my table settings, and Easter is the perfect time to pull out all of my fun china. This year I decided to mix vintage with new for a special meal with my family.
You'll notice some rose medallion plates that belonged to my grandmother, and I loved pulling them out and using them in an updated more modern setting. Watch me set this year's table:
I also used my grandmother's dainty little teacups and cream & sugar bowls to create a beautiful centerpiece with store bought flowers. It's such a great way to create an easy and pretty arrangement of flowers for any tablescape-- even if you're not a green thumb! Watch my tutorial:

Setting a pretty table does not have to be complicated or difficult. Look in your cupboards and pull out that china that you've been storing-- and blow off the dust! A thoughtful and beautiful table tells your guests that they are in for a treat, and a simple meal can become very special with a few simple touches. AND-- special meals make for special memories with your loved ones.
